It's almost Christmas - 13th month and Christmas bonuses are coming in (though smaller than you'd hoped). I hope I've reached you just in time before you splurge rather than invest. (Tip: Set aside some to treat you and your family to a nice Christmas dinner and save or invest the rest. Don't buy that new digicam or home theater system just yet.)

You know me from NFJPIA, UNICEF, Manresa/De La Salle, work or online. You know I'm a CPA who didn't go into audit – but you probably don't know why.
I wanted to try my hand at being an entrepreneur – and I have! I co-founded a web technology startup called Pigmata Media.

More importantly, I wanted to put my finance education into understanding how money works – not just for businesses but for individuals like you and me. For young married couples who want to have children someday, for elderly couples who still have children to send to college.

Writing my personal finance blog has been fun – but I'm taking a leap forward toward my dream of spreading financial literacy for the Filipinos... with Breadwiser Personal Finance.
